Friends of DHR
At the Heart of Our School Community
We are proud of our vibrant and engaged parent community, known as the Friends of DHR. This dedicated voluntary group of parent representatives plays an active role in organising events and initiatives that enrich school life and foster a strong sense of belonging.
Working closely with the School Leadership Team, the committee meets regularly to plan activities that bring families together, celebrate milestones, and support the wider school community.
Alongside this, our formal Parents in Partnership programme is a cornerstone of life at Downe House Riyadh. From interactive workshops and classroom open days to cultural celebrations and Medley Lectures, the initiative strengthens the home–school connection and celebrates the shared journey of families and educators.
By getting involved, parents not only enhance their child’s educational experience but also contribute to the warm, inclusive spirit that defines Downe House Riyadh.
