An adventure in education for girls in Riyadh
I am proud to be the Head of School at Downe House Riyadh as we build the first British International school for girls in the Kingdom. I believe that schools should provide the very best opportunities academically, pastorally and developmentally for their pupils. A cornerstone of British education, that sets it apart from others, is the inclusion of a varied co-curricular opportunities and a wider curriculum, including creative arts and physical education.
This approach to educating the ‘whole child’ has been successful for many years in the UK, notably at our partner school, Downe House. As we bringing a British education to Riyadh, we fully embrace the important aspects of life in the Kingdom and include Arabic and Islamic Studies within the curriculum. At Downe House Riyadh we enable each pupil to find their passions, their strengths and what challenges them, enabling us to provide an education that encourages girls to meet and exceed their ambitions.
Downe House Riyadh shares a strong partnership with Downe House UK, with connections and collaborative opportunities for pupils and staff. We benefit from their long and distinguished history of successful girls’ education, expertise in applying to British and international universities and creating a strong school environment tailored to girls.
Downe House Riyadh will support your daughter to achieve her ambitions, offer myriad opportunities to find her strengths and a dedicated staff who understand that to succeed one must also be happy.
I warmly invite you to visit us, meet with me and our staff, and see the wonderful opportunities we can offer your daughter.
